It Takes Two consists of nine major chapters, each having a different game design, setting, and emotional journey that will be reminiscent of the development of the relationship between the two protagonists.
1. The Shed
The initial chapter throws the players in the turbulent and hectic garage of Cody and May. Featuring power tools as the new antagonists, this stage presents a co-op action gameplay with unexpectedly bloodthirsty gameplay.
2. The Tree
This level is in the backyard where you are engaged in a squirrel war, a secret one, and you climb a giant tree. It has flying mechanics and mad chases and there are acorns that explode.
In addition, it is an outstanding section filled with creativity and fast-paced gameplay that provides a fun change in tone and pace.
3. Rose’s Room
This dreamlike plane reduces Cody and May to toys in the room of their daughter where the objects of everyday life turn into super-sized obstacles.
One can find games and puzzles and magical platforms.
4. Cuckoo Clock
This is a level that is well-designed so that time is your enemy and your tool. The gameplay is based on manipulation of time.
Both characters must ideally be in sync to move the platforms, open the doors and outsmart the time-based challenges.
5. Snow Globe
You will get to experience a snowy town that the couple once went to during the good old days, and was now trapped in time and ice.
Also, this phase brings in the tranquility of the discovery and the thrill of the ice-skating scenes and brings in the physics of magnetism that challenges the coordination.
6. Garden
It is in this fertile and symbolic dimension, May makes Cody reconnect with his lost love, gardening.
The characters in the game have to deal with the forces of plants and water to bring life back into a garden that was once tragic.
Moreover, people often relate it to the effort required to recover from emotional trauma and rebuild a broken relationship.
7. The Attic
The last level combines the issues of music and reconciliation when Cody and May join their efforts to make music, to find harmony.
Some of the additions include emotional cutscenes, rhythm-based fights, and a concert-like performance of a song. To learn more of why it is one of the most acclaimed co-op games, you can go to the complete review at IGN.

Can I Play It Takes Two Alone?
It Takes Two is not solo game. The developers created the game for two players to play either on the same computer terminal or over an online network.
-
Developed to Run in Co-op
The creators designed the game for team-based play from the start. The game mechanics are in such a manner that one cannot play the game alone and two individuals must cooperate to solve puzzles.
-
On-line and off-line Multiplayer
The players are also able to play each other in the same couch or through the Internet. The game will be split into Ps4 and Ps5 screen gameplay and online co-op whereby one can invite friends.
-
The Fast Friends Pass is Tabulated
The game is accompanied by the Friend Pass that enables an individual to download the game at no cost and play with the other online.
This means that it does not need more than one purchase in order to have the two players enjoy the game.
It Takes Two is not a game, it is the issue of relations, the game of emotions. Another rollercoaster and a new kind of game to play with a person. It is not possible to play the game on your own and that is the point.
